    bunny hopping

Interesting. I thought the CDV was only fitted for the North American market. Definitely a pain in the ass and worth canning.

    Would this require a remap?

Additional Front Strut Brace - worthwhile?

There's the truth of it. Most people will never truly reach the performance limit of this car in stock form.

I'd be interested too, even with the exchange rate considerations.

    M seats and cornering

They work fine with a proper harness.

It's like buying a new refrigerator - pretty soon you've done the entire kitchen (ask me how I know this).

How many miles on it? Could be the flex disc/guibo.

    Porsche Slight regret

I came very close to buying a 997 before I bought my coupe (in fact I bought the coupe at a Porsche dealership), but was scared off by the lack of engine access. I like to do my own wrenching when I can, and everything about the Porsche screams "don't even think about it, junior".

    Road/track tyres

Bridgestone RE-11 or Michelin Pilot Supersport XL. I ran the Bridgestones on my Mini track car; unfortunately I can't find the correct size for the M Coupe rear wheels here in the US. The Michelins were a HUGE improvement over the OEM Continentals.

    M brake ducts

Interesting - I thought that was a US-only feature. I drilled mine out as well, seems to help a bit on the track.

    Insp 1 and valve clearances.

I suppose I've been lucky - 66K miles and never had to adjust the valves, and I take it to the track 4-5 times a year. In fact I just had my mechanic check them (while he was replacing the VANOS - another horror story) and they were well within tolerances.
