Guide for replacing old hydraulic lines

I put the o-ring on the end of the hydraulic tubing, then pressed into the hydraulic ram. Make sure theres a little fluid on the o-ring. Look at time 8:55 in this youtube... not the same ram, but same method of installing. TopHydraulics has the best pump video... I refurbed my pump...

    Removing the OE phone mount

Been 3 summers since, but it was the first mod that I attempted on the Z4. I got lucky watching ebay and scored one from lithuania. You may find a better deal from a part out or breaker on ebay.

Guide for replacing old hydraulic lines

FWIW, I used new o-rings and at least one new clip for the reason that Robbi said. Dropped one and couldn't locate it and had the new ones from the repleacement harness kit. Wear your readers and use a pick to ensure that the old o-rings aren't in. New ones will satifyingly snap in when...

Shell starts to move then stops -- another top thread.

I noticed that the left boot lid is pulling down a bit too far, so a little adjustment of the kinematics there is needed. but nice to be out on a rare sunny afternoon yesterday.

Shell starts to move then stops -- another top thread.

Finished installing the refurbed pump from Top Hydraulics and Shell 2 reinstalled. I'm going to run with the boot and interior trim off for a few to check for any issues. Filled with top tier petrol from Costco and ready to wash, shine and protect tomorrow. Topped off the new hydraulic pipes...
