Thanks for your replies. Just for future reference if anyone else has the same thing..... It was the wiper stalk..... Got a used one off ebay for £7 and its all working again now (fingers crossed it stays that way)

Thanks for your advice guys - Do you think it could still be the stalk if that still works to spray the washer fluid by pulling it backwards? I'm not really sure how all these things work? I'm reluctant to try and take all the stuff off to see if its grease on the contacts as don't think it...

Hi there I currently have a problem with my Z4 M 2007 wiper blades where they don't work on any setting that I choose on the stalk (about a month ago I realised that one of the settings no longer set the blades wiping..... But all the others did, so have just been using the other available...
