What did you do to your Z4M today?

ahem, 1:15s grandpa  I think i got to a 1:15.3 there. It's the coupe advantage:poke:

Git! If I didn't already feel a bit slow around there, just another second on top of the already multiple seconds I need to find then :ROFLMAO: Where's Fishy Dave when you need him!
Seriously though that's a mighty impressive time, I can only doff the cap. Having done a reasonable amount of laps round there now I can safely say that kind of time is no joke, fair play to you!

Lol! Thank you, though I feel like I've probably done more laps there than I should have! It's a great track but the lack of any runoff does focus the mind quite a bit particuarly at the speeds involved. That said I reckon it suits the car pretty well.
Since moving I've been going a lot more to snetterton and occasionally Brands, but snett is even more of a power circuit than combe so it's hard to match some of the turbo cars these days.
I've managed to get into 54s at brands hatch indy and 2:10 snett 300, anyone else been there recently?
Here's a combe 1:15:8 or something from 7 years ago. Yes, £5000 at least of mods since has........... made a 1/2 second improvement:rofl:woooo
Fishy dave! He's still around! I'll ask him if he wants to do some instruction if you'd like (not that he does it but maybe)? I have no doubt he's get mine round in a 1:14, that guy can definitely drive! We're off for a TD at the ring in a month or so which I'm looking forward to. I think he's doing another one of his kids books 'clive the corvette' these series on it and bringing a videographer so hopefully might get some cool vid of z4vscorvette assuming there's any visibility at all!!

Cheers Tom, I know last time I met him when he still had the Z4 he mentioned about instruction at Combe but I wasn't in a position to do a track day there at the time. No rush on it, I won't be there again till at least spring next year now so maybe can re-visit it then :) Glad to hear he's doing well though.
Useful Combe vid as well, I can already tell from the first view you carry way more speed through most the corners than me so something to go on for next year!
Enjoy the ring, and some video's if you can get them
