After recently getting my 35i, I thought I'd just start a thread for everything I'll end up doing to the car, so that it's all in one place.

So, today was quite productive. Here's how it started out.

Wheels were transferred over, followed by the rear lights.

I then moved on to swapping out the yellow halo bulbs for nice white H11 led ones.

The passenger door handle was changed for one I had lying around from my previous interior swap.

Next on the list was a spare set of lci indicators that I had wrapped in gloss black.

Next was a deep clean of the interior. Washed all carpets and mats, cleaned the seats and other leather trims with gliptone leather cleaner, then a good coating of gliptone leather conditioner.

Followed on by giving the engine bay a good detail too.

The bodywork is badly needing a good cut and polish with the machine to bring it up to a good standard. That's for another day. I will continue to add to this as I progress.

What’s not to love? As an owner of a Chili red Mini Cooper SE as ‘daily run to the shops’…. I am not averse to red cars. Big applause for the ‘spit and polish’… the Z looks pristine ! 👏👏

Got home early today, so gave the bonnet a cut and polish. Big improvement to how it was, but could do a bit more.

After that, I removed the bubbling ppf from the bumper.

Finished off with fitting my oem black grills.

Not seen the strut top covers before? Are the OEM?
