224 wheels, spacers & lowering springs ??

As a road local to you MrT, the tram-lining on the Hog’s Back* made the car almost undrivable. Coupled with hill fog necessitating using the cat's eyes as Braille, it made for a very unpleasant experience!

*This was almost 15 years ago, so they might have resurfaced the road by now!

Did a chat gpt mock up of now and lowered / spacered.


The other option i guess is just to mild spacer and no lower

It has been pretty sketchy for years (I used to live in Ash in the late 80s) despite being resurfaced a few times.

Referring to your previous post I never get to go fast enough in the UK to experience any floatiness at the front - presumably it only happens when you are well into 3 figure speeds!

Well the front on mine definitely felt very light (on original suspension) over small autobahn imperfections at an indicated 170mph in Germany

It was part of the reason I added a bit of rake when I upgraded the suspension. Of course the poor factory balance front to back and geometry didn’t help.

Mine feels more planted at high speed even with the addition of a ducktail spoiler moving the balance rearwards slightly.

The 335xD Touring feels planted at VMax…albeit 15mph down.

The front of mine was very light and vague from about 125 mph with OEM springs. With Eibachs I hit an indicated 170 mph without the front end lifting.
