Insulated driving gloves - any suggestions?

As I wrote in my introduction here, I am legally 60, but due chemotherapy prematurely aged to bio-age of something beyond 75. One of its many (negative) effects is a very severe Raynaud syndrome = my palms and fingers get truly frozen at temperatures even well above 10 deg C. But I love driving my Zet roofless at cold days, too. Thus (really) insulated driving gloves are a real MUST for me. So far I went with those, but these are not "drivers" gloves.

So a query for those, who drive roofless thru cold Scottish Highlands or Rockies: Which insulated drivers gloves are your choice?
 
Forgot to mention: Rest of my aged body withstands low temperatures well, but, obviously, driving thru cold roofless means heater in ventilation "on" and blowing on myself, but my suffering hands are oblivious to it (gloves simply needed regardless heated air from vents)
 
I removed my heated steering wheel but find the central and door vents directed on to my hands with the middle tier direction enabled does a good job...with the windows up its good to at least -10c
 
I bought some battery powered motorcycle gloves when a bit chilly. Not warm to feel, but keeps the chill off.
When riding bike, not driving....might try them in car..
 
Before the onset of post-chemical Raynaud I was having cold fingers from time to time while skiing so I tried then electrically heated skiing gloves, but soon afterwards got rid of them due the batteries weight (within their sleeve) - never got used to it (subjective reason, I know).

Sorry to hear about your predicament. I guess a set of racing gloves is probably too much of a good thing, I do have some rather nice bmw Napa leather driving gloves (not sure where I got them) and I’ve never worn them in anger, but they are exquisitely made. I am sure they would look after your hands quite well if heated steering is out of the budget.

If you give me your adress, I’ll send you the set I have. Pm me.i also have a set of my old mil flying gloves, could send you a set of those if you prefer that style..(new ofcourse)

I have Raynaud's too. I can keep the pain at bay thanks to a Nifedipine prescription. It might not be suitable for you, as it's a blood thinner, but maybe something to ask your doctor about?

Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker, so it won't have anticoagulant effects, but it can interact with many other drugs as well as alcohol and grapefruits! It can be very effective for Raynaud's though, so worth exploring with your GP.

Very nice gesture. Got to love this forum. I used the SLK forum for some research. Nowhere near as helpful and friendly as this 🤗👍

Interesting, thank you. I'm sure my GP said blood thinner, but I'm probably just misremembering.

Luckily, I'm young enough to be on no other meds, so it's ideal for me (I just take 30 minutes before exposure to the cold) - hopefully it's an avenue for OP, too.
 
My dad used electric gloves for his motorbike trips (wired to the bike's electriclal system) before he became to unstable to support the motorbike at traffic lights/junctions.

Another option would be the merino/silk hiker/runner/cyclist/skiing type liners/gloves.

I use something similar to the above as a liner to my ski mitts when I'm skiing at -30ºc. The liner ones are fine without the mitt when I'm just walking around the resort.
 
Personally it’s glove inners rather than gloves themselves I’ve been looking at, you can get some very slim ones with a small battery shown in the pic which is as an example only, not suggesting you get these, but these in general seem the best bet to me, then you can put a pair of thinner gloves on top, ski gloves are way too thick imo.

Hope you find something suitable Pav, must be a painful condition you have.
