WANTED Z4 Coupe WANTED

Hello all,

I joined this forum recently (after a while lurking) as I hunt for a manual Z4 Coupe M Sport. Although I’d still take an SE.

Ideally it would have:
- cruise control
- heated seats
- strong service history
- strong maintenance history (water pump, thermostat, vanos etc.)

Budget is flexible for the right car but nothing £10k+.

Mileage doesn’t worry me as long as it’s been looked after (with evidence!).

I’m hoping this aids my search as I’ve missed out on two good cars, and there seems to be nothing out there currently listed.

For info : heated seats and cruise control can, I'm fairly sure, be added retrospectively. Just saying as it might help you broaden your search.

I bought mine in July and based on my experience I'd say if you're spending £6k'ish then expect to pay £2k-£3k to get it right (suspension, DISA, etc) and for £10k you'd expect those things to be recently done - that would be my expectation at least. If you're looking on Autotrader or PH then add £3k to each of those prices. Facebook and eBay definitely cheaper but often a slightly different profile of cars.

Personally, I bought at the low end of the market fully expecting to spend to get it right (which I have) but at least it's all new so I get the majority of the benefit. And the satisfaction

I’m a bit gutted as I missed a very well sorted example for £7.5k. It did have 109k on the clock but had everything done to it.

Just hoping the forum has some nice examples!

Mine's got 122k - when maintained, they're good for well over that (200k+). Mine's a weekend/2nd car so the mileage will average out. I forgot to get an oil sample done at my recent service but I'll defo do that next year. Also put a magnetic sump plug in, marginal benefit (arguably) but for the sake of £9...

I also missed out one really nice one - it went in a day! But quite happy with mine.

Looks a beauty! CSL alloys would be a plus on mine, love them!

It had 18" CSL with shite tyres, I bought these with PS4's. I've had all new suspension and bushes but it's definitely firmer! I've kept the old 18's as I intend to use them for track days.

Keep an eye on Facebook - some bargains come up.

And yes I’m in one or two of the groups over there as well, fingers crossed a good one comes up!
