Z4 cars for sale section and new sign-ups. Poll. ?

Interesting question/poll ....:

I like most people and as other members have already posted , the first and easiest port of call is Autotrader. But when / if I find something of interest then I will do a detailed search using AI and find all the other websites that the car is listed on. This includes the auction sites.

Now as to new sign ups just using this forum to only advertise their car for sale , I must admit I do not see a problem with this. As far as I am aware there are no restrictions/rules regarding who can /cannot advertise their Z4 on this platform. .. okay maybe being a member is required.

Personally I would allow non members ( guest) who found this forum and just wishes to advertise their car without having to jump thru some arbitary hoops to be eligible .

Infact this maybe a great way to gain more traction on the Search algorithium for the forum ?

This stuff is part of my day job.

The forum actually ranks pretty well in AI (especially mine as I cite it as a key source) and this forum software already has schema markup enabled (structure behind the pages that help AI understand the context better) so pretty optimal already. The only issue could be that this site is behind Cloudflare and they are about (late September) to change some default rules with regard to AI crawling so might be worth the forum tech people running their eye over that.

I've just typed all that and then realised you might mean the site search itself?

You got the jist first time :)

( I did not mean the site search )

AI is becoming more 'useable', but it still needs work. I have started to use AI more and more recently and this is for info that I am "au fait" on and to experiment with, and with fine tuning/corrective feedback , the results are impressive :)
