Smoke bellowing from Engine - BMW Z4 M - 2008 2L

Hi - could someone please advise the issue here, after starting the engine smoke bellows when the car has been in the garage for a week and for about 2 mins then no further smoke...perhaps Oil leak?

Perhaps you have a little oil leak somewhere that builds up over the week and then burns off.

Very much this. If the smoke is immediately upon startup, then disappears quickly, the oil must be leaking onto the exhaust manifold and therefore gets burned off very quickly.

You'll have to get an inspection light and have a good look around.

Got this on my 2.0l, have a Elring cam cover gasket to put on it when I get a chance to do it. Haven't been able to spot the exact place its coming from but probably at the back end of the cover joint where it can drip onto the exhaust and gets burnt off.
