What have you done to your car today?

Replaced rear bumper (old one was why it was written off). Replacement BMW badge and new number plates front and rear (no more dealer badging, something else instead)

Quick oil change, then off to Liverpool to catch the Steam Packet to Douglas. Staff on the boat trusted the handbrake about as much as I do and chocked the wheels as well. (I always leave it in gear, does the same job.)

Only 7k miles on the oil/filter and it was overdue by my reckoning. Definitely need to stick to nearer a 5k regime I think. Think the BMW recommendation is nearer 15k miles. Madness. Ready for the second half of the year hooning now.

Rear wheel arches off, Lanoguard'd all of the inner arch. Was good timing as surface rust was just starting to form.

Feels like an every two year job to me to keep the rust at bay.

Two of the 19" CSL rims fitted - was going dark so I'll do the fronts and Lanoguard front arches whilst I'm there.

Broke the driver's side cupholder with my knee getting in. I forgot I had an empty cup in there I was planning on throwing out later. The good news, my offside cupholder turned out to be broken some time ago, so when I ordered a replacement for that one from AliExpress, I ordered both at the same time. Combo deal was cheaper. So I had a spare ready to go.
The not so good news is that the force of the knock apparently broke some plastic clips on/in the actual vent piece, one of which is the tab/piece the screw goes through to secure the cupholder in place (which slides on). Managed to print some sort of a replacement tab, got everything superglued together, and now with the new cupholder in place it's all good again.

Felt like a right idiot the moment I stepped in and my knee hit the cupholder though :/
