Gravity cat back exhaust E85 30i

Had one of the these cheap exhausts on my R53. It sounded nice enough, but maybe that's because all the welds to the silencers had rusted through.
It was not built well, but it's cheap, so it wasn't a surprise. It came on the car, but I was very happy when I swapped it out.

We have one that was fitted in my sons M54 3.0i , it sounds just right, so much so that we wanted them on the other two cars.
That’s where it all went wrong , customer service was terrible , one never arrived, the other was poorly made and it took weeks of arguing to get my money back. Like dealing with Dory from finding Nemo!
From what I have read the N 52 version doesn’t fit well but I have no experience of this.

Have one on my E86,it sounds ok but,keeps throwing codes so looking to swap for a standard exhaust.

Had one on the 2.5i, sounds great unless the roof is up at (pressing on) motorway speeds then it droned terribly. Roof down it was great. Suspect with a 6 speed it would've been better (different rpm at motorway speeds). Fitment was okay, hung down low a little bit in the middle and would catch on roads with grass in the middle of them.

I had one of these systems fitted to a previous E86 coupe and the fitment was absolutely horrendous. Part of the exhaust was banging on the diff, And the mechanics were unable to get it to fit 100%. So every bump you went over it banged against the car. Also the rear exhaust pipes were terrible quality. I ended up taking it to Edwards engineering and they ended up cutting sections out of it. In order to get it to fit properly and remaking parts, it was an absolute ball ache.
Soundwise there was plenty of pops on the overrun but the drone was horrific at 70 mph on the motorway. I absolutely hated this exhaust and wished I'd never bothered.
On my current car which is also an E86. I have removed the centre box and it sounds really sweet.
Has a nice howl at the top. There's no pops and bangs and it sounds fine on the motorway, but you've got a bit more tone in the upper rev range. There's no drone whatsoever, so if you just after a bit more noise than I would highly recommend. Just simply removing the centre resonator leaving everything else standard.

Ok so visit to cybox exhaust on the wirral and all booked in I've gone for a cat back system with 2 mufflers from front to the cage running a single 2 1/2 inch branching into both sides but instead of quad I've gone for single oval tips and also a front downpipe gasket guard skid I've mocked up what it will look like its different but individual and I like it

About the same cash as the gravity pipe?
Will do its booked in for Monday 29th so will post clip when I can so all in £650 that's with fabrication of bumper so gravity was around 400 plus fitting so probably around 500 but im getting duel so extra expense on that but at least I know it will fit properly and the guy is top and local to me im happy with his work will get pics of it on ramp if i can
