Northern Iberia June 2026.. all slots taken

Another day ..another set of empty roads..didn’t see a single UK reg car/bike…stayed at this eclectic hotel where I’ve stayed before…some of our crew trying to get the perfect shot..IMG_4185.pngcb24ac1d-4ff5-46d8-931a-98b0593267a1.jpegIMG_2098.jpegIMG_2099.jpegIMG_2101.jpeg

Another day as we IMG_4215.pngIMG_2111.jpegIMG_4211.pngIMG_4212.pngIMG_4197.pngIMG_4204.pngIMG_4195.pngwander east to west..near the Portuguese border now at another Parador..

5 hours of motoring bliss..

Living the dream..

Another day crossing Iberia..this time from our stop near the edge of the Spanish Portuguese border to our most Westerly stop at Fisterra the furthest point westerly in Europe.

Most of the scenery was just ‘nice’ without being ‘epic’..been spoilt by some of the previous days..

Getting through Santiago to Compostela as usual was a nightmare in and around the city we saw two significant accidents.

Fisterra itself is a typical small northern Siberian seaside town. Our accommodation although looking modest on the outside is nicely finished and well air-conditioned.

Temperatures hit 38C in the afternoon, once it went past 35C I was forced to put the roof up.

We’re spending two nights here before we head back towards Picos mountains.IMG_2129.jpegIMG_2131.jpegIMG_2134.jpegIMG_2162.jpegIMG_2165.jpeg

OMG, Shit!
Today we were thinking about closing our roof in France when the temperature increased 30°C.
