Nice. Have been considering a return to an NBFL having had a number of them in the past. But mine's not a coupe....
Have you a build thread on an MX forum?
2003 Mazda MX-5 1.8 VVT (146 bhp) – "OEM Plus" Build
Year: 2003 (Mk2.5)
Engine: 1.8L VVT (146 bhp)
Mileage: 55,000 miles
Color: Brilliant Black
History: Comprehensive service history, clean HPI check
An excellent, well-cared-for example of the Mk2.5 MX-5. I have owned this car for the last two years, spending thousands of pounds to restore and upgrade it into the ultimate "OEM Plus" setup. It is perfectly sorted for weekend B-road blasts or occasional track days. Having scratched the MX-5 itch, I am now considering a change, so it is up for sale or potential swap.
The car has a clean history and was purchased from a classic car garage owner, whose wife owned it for a number of years. It has covered just 2,000 miles per year over the last decade.
You will struggle to find another example with the common rust issues fully resolved to this standard. Buying a cheap car and trying to replicate this build would cost significantly more than the asking price.
