Group 1 (sopers of Lincoln)

Sopers used to be one of the 'go to' BMW dealers for parts. Helpful, efficient and easy to deal with (with a decent forum discount).

I ordered two parts from the new Group 1 incarnation on 5th May. I was told one would take 5 days as it had to come from Germany but as soon as it arrived they would post both out to me FOC. Happy days, I thought.

On the 18th May nothing had arrived so I phoned them. Both parts were there waiting to be collected. No note 'on the system' of them being for delivery. So I asked them to post them (that day).
As of today, 20th May, nothing.

Not impressed, as I could have ordered the parts from Autodoc (for less) and they would have been here by now.

That's a shame, Sopers used to be one of my "go to" options.

Maybe the Group 1 involvement hasn't helped.

Shame to hear that. I've no direct experience, but if you're after an alternative, I've used Cotswold BMW for most of my recent parts orders; very helpful and you get a forum discount if you mention you're on M3 Cutters They've managed to post out plenty of bits to me no issue!

My go to are Sytner Stevenage. They happen to be my local but also have a comprehensive parts website.
