Hi I have just purchased a Z4 35i and the rear suspension is sitting low, as I'm not an expert on this model yet, can anybody suggest a solution Tia

First thing I’d do is check if it’s stock or aftermarket suspension. Front and rear.

What year and mileage?

Way too low, the front looks ok though. As said already possibly aftermarket rear or broken springs, they’re notorious for snapping rear springs.

107k and 2009
From others’ experiences, it’s that kind of age and mileage that the struts would be done. The next step is to determine if the suspension is stock or aftermarket. Stick your head or your camera under the rear, take and share a few photos. (Might as well do it with the front.)

Looks like it’s been butchered by an ‘expert’…… quite a few tell tale suggestions…

The springs are both new but the Shockers look original

Shocks don’t have any bearing on ride height Chris which from these pics doesn’t look as bad as your first post.

Are you sure the springs are new..? Someone’s been brushing a bit of black waxoyl or similar around, badly…🫣, but honestly the springs look old original ones to me covered in black jack, and if so they’ll be sagging by now.

Could be the wrong new spring ..can you see the part number

Unusual a 35i with adaptive dampers….who ever replaced the springs probably didn’t take that into account..
