Quick update, almost perfect, until paint on the sunroof button paint fell off :roll: Typical crap BMW quality - cutting corners again. :?
I'll solve this by taking the buttons out and colour matching with a matte effect paint, then applying new transfers (think airfix kit), then a matte lacquer over the top. Not impressed BMW!

Otherwise the rest turned out well. In hindsight I should have fixed the chipped paint by the rear arch before putting the 3M over the top, but at least this stops it getting worse until next year when I'll take off the 3M, possibly re-spray or touch up that area and then re-apply the film. I've also had the area by the kick plate done to stop shoes bashing it. The professional who has done the film said it's really thick and should be durable.
The centre console looks the mutts nuts in carbon! very happy
