For sale a set of 4 wheels from my g29 z4, 18 inch (fronts = 8.5jx18, offset 30) (rears = 9jx18, offset 32) (Bolt Pattern: 5x112) styling 798M in orbit grey with Conti winter tyres. they have recently come of my car and I would have run them for another season but my wife has now got a run around car so she won't be using it as her daily. so these are no longer required. the rims are in good order as you can see from the photos. no scrapes. they have a Bmw tps sensors in them and are recognised as the correct winter wheels on the computer of my g29. (guess if you change the tyres for summers then you just select that manually instead). tread is around 4 - 5 mm

That is extremely cheap. The tyres would nearly cost the asking price.

Presumably a square set up (255/40 tyres) on staggered rims?

It's worth quoting the wheel offsets, as these may find a wider audience with other G series BMWs. I know many who own G series 3 and 4s use winter wheels and tyres. These would potentially be very popular if the offsets are OK.

yeah the tyres are all the same 255/40 on staged rims (I bought them from Bmw as a winter tyre wheel set and thats how they came ) ive no idea what offset they are, will it be on the rims? apparently they fit 3 series and 4 series of a similar age ( g series cars ) think I paid £1600 5 years ago for them, so didnt think anyone would want to pay much for them with old tyres on, even though they do have some life left in them

Offset will be on the back of one of the spokes, it will be ET and then 2 digits.

Fronts and rears will probably be different.

BMW generally use "IS" rather than "ET".

thanks yes it is an offset of 30 on the fronts and 32 on the rears. more worrying is ive near noticed that they was even different and it was pot luck to if I got them on the right wheel. they all had the same tyre on them so I never looked more then that. The summers 19inch wheels are 275 at the rear and you cant go wrong. ooops

2mm offset itself wouldn't have had any effect on its own, but when you combine that with the extra 6mm of wheel width (i.e. the extra 1/2" ÷ 2) you end up with a rear wheel that's about 8.5mm closer to the inside of the arch than a front wheel.

With narrower winter tyres it probably didn't matter
