What have you done to your E89 today

From what I’ve noticed, the F20/30 set up, if they have been refurbished then they tend do it matching as you would expect. However from factory they appear to be as I have (not intentionally). Be great to under their logic.

My car has the bonnet gap not even right side where bonnet closes next to wing and headlight.
Have in the past tried to close up the gap adjusting screws there even bending the metal..
Few days ago i pushed on the bottom of wheel arch bumper and gap closed up.
So the problem is the bumper needs to come forward at the bottom of wheel arch causing it to rotate and closing the gap..
Have look later today.

When I purchased the car, I decided to swap the run flats for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6. Ever since, I’ve been anxious about not having a spare, so purchased a space saver from The Wheel Shop.

Arrived today, minus the storage bag and z4 jack pad adapter!

Very annoying! IMG_4765.jpeg

I finally got around to fitting my Audison bit Ten DSP.

Since upgrading all the speakers and adding amplification, I was never satisfied with the sound profile. Naturally, everything was heavy equalised for low quality speakers that no longer existed.

De-equalisation, phase alignment and a little play with the EQ to bring the footwell woofers into life and I’m very happy with how things sound. No doubt I’ll be periodically going in to tweak things!

Huge investment in time and money but if you truly love great audio in a car then it’s the only way..imho

Interesting idea, ...

... but where to put the defective wheel in full size in case of any damage?

That's the point!

If you rely on your spare wheel you will pack the small trunk with your clothes up the partitioner on the next Scottland or Tuscany trip.

No place for the expensive but defective wheel.

I love great audio full stop! With two young children at home, I don’t get to listen to my hifi as much as I’d like anymore, so making the car’s audio as enjoyable as possible is one route to indulge in my inner audiophile.

Speaking of audio, are there many others in the community who are audiophiles? I think this deserves its own post…
