Independents are getting screwed on wholesale costs, as they buy from whoever is cheapest; normally. Major brands and supermarkets not so much. The price difference per pump is the biggest ones I have ever seen, on one road you have a station that is 50p a litre cheaper then the next one
I paid the equivalent for both diesel and Shell V-Power this week, which is very high for Sydney. At the same fuel station, since I filled up a few days ago the prices have increased 20-30 cents per litre. E10 is around £1.29 per litre and diesel £1.56 as of today. Average petrol prices in Sydney last year were around 85-90p per litre and diesel was around 99p per litre. Then you're an idiot. I paid £1.42 a litre for E10 today and moaned at that.
