I enquired won’t budge on price and want money before sending didn’t understand PayPal’s goods and service.. These won’t go unless someone happy to do it their way or passing by where they live

Do you actually expect someone to send these out before receiving payment? Personally, I hate using PayPal goods and services. There are so many scammers on Facebook (including buyers), it's not worth the hassle.

Exactly, because sending money first without any form of cover would be… well stupid. Maybe a forum member on here I would but that ad actually looks a bit scammy their Facebook profile doesn’t show that much.. anyway I’m out! ☺️

Genuine question, as I don't do Facebook for several reasons, why doesn't someone like this sell it on Ebay?
With no Seller's fees now and Buyer Protection, surely it's better for everyone?

They still pay a final value fee i think although the listing fee has gone. I no longer sell on eBay as they refused to recognise First Direct as being a real bank so i lost interest!

i am not a fan of FB marketplace unless its F2F purchase. However i have previously agreed with a selller to remove the listing and put it on Vinted instead. That way you get the protection they offer, yes it will cost a little more due to Vinted fees but its usually only a couple of quid.

I bought some motorcycle gloves a while ago and agreed with the seller to use Vinted.

Agree as to FB Marketplace that it is a hive for scammers, and even selling f2f the risk is that someone turns up with fake notes. I personally would not sell anything worth more than £10-20 on there.

I do not use the platform but I have heard a lot of bad things about selling on Vinted. "Buyers" dispute and Vinted always find in their favour. As much as I dislike eBay, I think that remains the safest place to sell.

As for buying, buying on here comes with the usual risks unless there is a clear trail of positive posts about the seller or they are a post of such renown you know they would not mess you about. I have had no problems here myself personally.

Nope, no final value fee. Like tariffs, buyer bears the cost although down to the individual seller how they might approach that. If I wanted to sell something for £15.00 before, do I still list for £15.00 and let the buyer swallow the additional protection fee or do I adjust my price down so the overall cost the buyer will pay is £15.00?

I am also seeing far fewer listings with free delivery since eBay moved to Simple Delivery which sets the postage options and cost but allows the seller to specify who will pay.

Is it just me who is thinking how will that fit in an E85 Z4? It looks like none of their current sets which also look to be of a much better quality than these do https://roadsterbag.shop/en/search?q=z4

Not a fan of the multicoloured look either, but seeking how much Roadsterbag luggage sells for new, it might be a bargain for someone.

It's their older model (nylon, two-tone, 3-piece vs leatherette, black, 2-piece), and fits just as the photos show on the Roadsterbag website...except that instead of 2 large cases you have 1 large and 2 smaller ones (that fit in the space of one larger one).

I believe the full-size large bag even leaves enough space for the soft top to be stowed.

Neither will fit in a Z4M though...although I suppose you could use the old version and leave one of the smaller cases at home.

This is a 3-piece version of the new style luggage set in a Z3, but it would fit in a similar way...
