I just picked up my 2019 Z4 from the dealership where they performed the starter recall. During their inspection they found that one of the motor mounts was ruptured and of course both need to be replaced. The car is out of the 5-year warranty period but again, only 17,000 miles. I have asked about any type of dealership goodwill but have not heard anything back. Anyone out there with an early problem with motor mounts on this model? Quoted price from the dealership is $1,912. If I am going to have to pay what about private shops verses the dealership? The car is out of warranty so why go back to them especially if there is no goodwill coming on this issue? I have researched and found failures +45,000 miles but nothing this soon. Is this a problem with this model? No factory recalls on it that I can find. Any feedback would be appreciated

Second note will be a separate thread - 17,000 miles and the tires are close to replacement! Wow! That seems way to soon.
