Pair of black leather, electric E92 M3 seats, good condition, no major rips or anything like that, should bolt straight into a E89 I believe.

Apologies but have you actually tried to fit them into an E89? Alternatively did you use Google etc. to at least check if they might?

I'm not going to put it out there without some sort of fact to base it on

Although I don't know about the wiring, I'm fairly certain they will bolt in to the floor based on my research. However, I am not 100% certain and haven't tested the theory. That is why i wrote "should" rather than will.

They do share a lot of seat parts so I'd say it's pretty likely they will fit, can't find a definitive answer on the seat rail itself though for fitment and I would probably want to do some measuring and check bolt layout etc first. The seat wiring seems to be shared between E9x and E89, so that should work.

Thanks for this, I thought similarly.

I'm happy for someone to come to mine in an E89 and we can try the fitment before they buy if it helps

Realise you are in the SW, so probably not helpful to you, but putting it out there for others.

Have you still got these seats? I’m local to you and could do a test fit. Are they heated seats? Mine are heated black sports seats and have electric operation for side bolsters and airbags. The main adjustment is manual, but I guess if your electrically operated seats plug straight into the loom then the electric operation will probably work.

Hmmmm. Just had a google and it seems to be not so straight forward. The seat height is likely too high also and the e89 is cramped at the best of times. Perhaps not.
