These are UK spec rear lights and were changed because both vehicles reside in France and I had to change them out as fog and reverse are incorrect for France. V good condition. No scratches/ cracks. No broken tabs. Fixings intact. First pair has all the bulb holders and Saphire Black chips. 2nd pair are Grey(Dark grey, don't know the name) With 3 of the bulb holders. Make me an offer plus postage. I will be in the UK from the 2nd of March to the 6th in Donhead St Andrew, which is a between Salisbury and Shaftesbury, if collection is an option. Seems a shame to bin them. Spares must be getting hard to come by.

The bulb holders in good condition are worth more than the lights.

They fit many models of BMW so easy to sell on ebay.

What was wrong with them and where did you source them?

Right then.
America and Japan largely mate.
Because, one country is right hand drive and the other is left hand drive, this means you need the cluster from each country with the clear reversing lense and also clear indicator lens.
This is what I did the 1st time but wasn't overly happy with the differences in the reflectiveness. I think the Japanese one was a newer lamp compared to the American. The Japanese one was also immaculately clean, the American one wasn't.
The 2nd time I was lucky enough to find a matching pair on the same car in America and through email exchange I goth them bought.
I had customs fees to pay, FedEx and DHL no problem. What amazed me was it took less than a week to get 2 parcels from 2 different countries.

It's all in the search terms.
Use a desktop version of eBay and go to eBay dot com for America and eBay dot JP for Japan. You may need to translate the page.

In both cases I then just added them to my basket but as they were different currencies it was separate transactions.
Hope this explains it.

On a UK car, are the US spec inner lights plug and play, or did you have to code the inner right reverse light to function as the rear fog? Are you just running a red bulb in that position?
