Z4 left side microswitch issue. URGENT HELP

Looking for some advice on a Z4 E89 boot/soft-close issue.

The left-hand micro switch on the boot soft-close/latch mechanism is broken and the wires have come away at the contact point on the switch itself.



Can anyone advice me 🙏🙏Hi🙏🙏🙏 urgent

Looks like yours has been 'bodged' before judging by the taped connections halfway down.

If that is the bootlid microswitch, they are readily available and are cheap. Buy both sides as sod's law the other will go the next day.

Edit: That is not a bootlid microswitch for the roof. Sorry.
 
These are the ones I have

They must be on realoem if they are on the car?

It's the left side! The right is fine! So you know where I can find them please if so!

It's the boot microswitch on the left hand side :(
