Drivers seat bolsters…

What is it with G29 drivers seat bolsters. I’ve looked at a few cars now, and asked for videos of others, all the drivers side seat bolsters are badly worn at under 15k miles. The only one that hasn’t had this was the 74 plate in SanRemo green. Maybe the fact that it had black leather makes a difference?

So , yes if seen a few well worn but not been my own experience. I had a G29 30i for over three years and 41k with the ivory interior. There was hardly any wear at all. Swapped it for M40i which is not a but does have black.
I think it’s heavy belts , coats and how people get in and extract themselves. I had seen people who seem to have ‘repaired’ it quite easily. I use Dr Leather wipes regularly and seems to keep seats in good order
 
Maybe owned by ladies who tend to be shorter and have the seat further forward, therefore rubbing more against the bolster as they get in and out?
 
I’m going to view a thunder night M40i with contrasting Cognac leather in the morning. Had a couple of photo’s through and whilst not perfect, the bolster looks ok 🤞
