New member I just bought a 2006 M roadster to replace my 2005 2.5 5mt that was killed by a deer. Have a 340mi shakedown run to get home from Florida.

Hello, welcome, commiserations on your loss and congratulations on upgrading to a lovely red Z4M, a 340 mile road trip home is a great introduction to a new car, lets hope it's not all highway :driving:

Shame your 2.5i got totalled by a deer, but looking on the bright side you might not have bought an M Roadster otherwise!

340 mile trip home should be great to familiarise yourself with the new car, although you won't do it on one tank of fuel.
 
Thanks for the kind remarks. The return trip is mostly freeway (I95 to I26), but I see myself on the tail of the dragon very soon.
