NO LONGER NEEDED Z4 M40i - May consider early20i/30i 4 with MSport plus pack.

Anyone in the group considering selling?

Preferably low mileage / low owners. Not a frozen paint finish and not black please.

Must be HPI clear, proper service history, the usual really. Feel free to PM with details if thinking of selling up.

Based in Bristol, but always willing to travel (Train/Fly) for the right car.

Thank you.
Have you driven one and are you after auto or manual?

Is this the end of the Alpina? Too late for me anyway :)
No, as well as.

More or less decided not to get another Porsche, at least until I’ve retired which is 3-4 years away.

Would probably let he Mrs E89 go and reduce the cars in the household.

I did toy with the idea of selling the Alpina and buying a python green 4.0 GTS, but I don’t think I can part with it.

Yes, Auto, but not properly on Welsh roads.

I’d be looking at Auto as I’m not sure £50k on a Z4 for a manual is wise. To be honest, at that price point I’d add another 10k is for a 4.0GTS

Some cars get under your skin, understood. I could not part with my 911, X5M, Z4M and the Golf either.

I can see why you wouldn't want to part with your Alpina. They are rare here anyway, especially in Alpina Blue, and you'd struggle to find another if you had a change of heart later!

Good luck finding the right M40i.

Good luck with your search but in your heart of hearts you know a NA 4.0 makes sense 🎄

There’s a nice Python green manual just come up funnily enough… trying to talk myself out of it. Why did you sell yours?

Fantastic cars having had both manual and DSG. I had the first one for almost 3 years and was pondering extending the warranty etc when the G29 received its LCI and I was smitten by the Thundernight/Ivory combination. Kept the G29 for 10 months but I am afraid it wasn't doing it for me. Stepped back into a GTS 4.0 as I missed it so much and it was the right move for me. Recently with elderly parents and grandchildren we need a bigger car so I moved into a Macan GTS which is a really great all rounder. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.

No longer looking, have found an M40i

Not through lack of trying to buy another Cayman though. Phoned several Porsche dealers and made several serious enquiries about 3 different GTS’s all with the same result, a lack of interest from the dealers and a serious lack of returned calls 🤬

What on earth is going on with those Porsche dealers. At least you have sourced a lovely looking M40i with a top spec :)
