A little bit of tyre advice...

My car came with 6 year old Avon tyres with lots of tread, about 2 years later I changed the rears for Goodyear Asy 6, didn’t have any problems but I don’t drive mad. All 4 are now Asy 6 and they are great. All have been non run flat.

I still think I'll end up replacing all four but I did have a look online for the asymmetric anything, but there's nothing in the size I'd need (255/35 R18). They seem to be available in other sizes, though. I did find two on eBay but like I said - I think it's going to be all four.

Unfortuantely my size in Goodyear R/Fs isn't on there. But thanks anyway - I hadn't seen this site and they do have other R/Fs at a good price

I carry an 'Airman' kit with the pump and bottle of gloop. But I'm aware of it's limitations so I remain a member of the AA or RAC: whichever gives me the best discount each year.
If you do a search for 'rats tails' on here you'll see another option. @Smartbear was a great advocate of those.

Yep, I’ve used them several times & never had one fail.
My present car carries a full size spare now (135/15)
