Resetting heater controls/flaps

Anybody know how to reset the heater to stop automatic demisting. Everything works fine on both normal and A/C including temp settings and directions but constantly demisting from top dashboard vents. I'm using the car and it's fine with the A/C on cold, directed thru these vents as it cancels the hot air out. Had battery disconnected but only to avoid airbag lights while doing handbrake. I've read these things do this to avoid any danger of car misting up but is there a way of resetting it.

Have a google/search for what transport mode looks like- I can’t recall the exact tell tale signs

If it is in transport mode it needs resetting/deleting using either scanner 1.4, DIS or ista

Its behaving exactly the way folk describe transport

Apparently my Creator 410 can reset transport mode. I'm not home until Thursday so I'll have a look then. Have you any experience, or know if this scanner is capable?
