Coral Red Leather - Maintenance

I have just bought a 2011, 23i in white with Coral Red Interior. 68000 miles. It has been well looked after with a full service history - mostly main dealer stamps too. It is in really lovely condition with only minimal traces of use - it certainly doeasny look like a 14 yr old car!
So - suggestions and advice sought on care for the Coral Red Leather. There are a couple of minor wear marks - Drivers bolster / seat belt rub on shoulder area. The surface of the leather is showing a little wear with the colour having almost rubbed through. I would like to find a quality product to bring back the Coral Red colour in those areas - Has anybody on here used a leather dye or similar in these circumstances? The wear is minor so doesnt warrant a seats out, professional refurb, more like TLC required to keep the seats loooking great. A second issue is the cover panel/door over the OBD Port which has been knocked off. I have the door but the tiny plastic pin on one end has snapped off. I have searched breakers online and have had 2 offers of parts but they want unrealistic money - £65 and £90 plus VAT!! I could put it back in place with Blue Tac but i'd like to get a proper fix
Any suggestions for the above issues would be gratefully received! Many Thanks

Scratch Doctor Leather Dye I'm a perfectionist and I'd say this comes out better than I had imagined.

I bought the 250ml bottle and apply it using a piece of kitchen sponge (the large rectangle ones) and a tiny paintbrush for the piping. Also done at the hight of summer so dried really quickly or you can use a hair dryer.

And shop around for the relevant bit of trim that you need - here's one on eBay for a fair bit less than you have been quoted, though obviously you want to be sure that the rest of it is intact.

Fady - Many thanks - thats great info and very helpful. Not sure how hard it is to fit that piece of trim or whether the door can be teased out and slotted in to mine but I'll work it out!
I will go find the leather dye too. Cheers.

knocked off. I have the door but the tiny plastic pin on one end has snapped off.
Heat a sowing pin red hot and push it into where the plastic pin has snapped off, let it cool, put a little epoxy resin around the pin and when set cut the pin to length and tidy up the epoxy to the same size and shape as the original plastic pin.
Worked a treat for me 😁

Thanks. That could work!

Can I play snap?

As already said Scratch doctor for the dye

Make sure you prep well. Mine had some coloured wax applied already

I used Leatherique for that plus cleaning conditioning

Thanks for the info.
I have just been on the website and purchased the dye as well as cleaner and primer. Can't wait to get stuck in!

Great

With the vagaries of dye batches, ageing etc I found that the dye needed to be a bit bluer so I got some blue dye as well. I added 6ml in 100ml. If you need any let me know

Just came across this

Thanks for the heads up. I have done a sort of repair job using duct tape on the inside of the obd port which holds the door in place pretty adequately.
