FOR SALE 224 Wheel swap

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place, so I thought I’d post it here too. Just testing the waters to see if anyone’s up for swapping a set of 224s.

Tyres are good all round (Kumho), though the wheels could do with a refurb. To be fair, if I don’t end up swapping them, I’ll probably change the colour anyway.

Looking for a set of 18s or 19s.

Sorry, I’m based just outside Stafford. I too like the 224’s, I just fancy a change, I love the 32’s and 216’s and also have a hankering for some CSL (reps obviously), but think they have to be 19’.

Sorry, I’m based just outside Stafford. I too like the 224’s, I just fancy a change, I love the 32’s and 216’s and also have a hankering for some CSL (reps obviously), but think they have to be 19’.

32s and 216s sound like good choices, but you can get 18" CSL Reps as I had a set some years ago. The only thing is that the ones I had weren't staggered, although some people prefer a square set-up anyway.

My car had 19" CSL Reps but so many people fit them I went back to 224s to be different!

My car came on a set of 19" CSL reps in anthracite but I'm thinking of changing to an APEX 18" wheel and I want a set of standard wheels to keep for the car as well. I'm not actually sure what the widths and offsets are but I will find out.

All four wheels are on Michelin Pilot Sport 4's - good tread on the rears, the last MOT flagged low tread on the inside of both fronts

• Rear tyres: 275 / 35 R19
• Front tyres: 245 / 35 R19

I'm based in West London.

Something to consider, it looks like R17SKO's car is a non-M whilst rawlinstr's is an ///M. The wheel offsets are quite different.

Ah well spotted, thanks for pointing that out. Will report back on my wheel offsets when I have the time to check on the car but yeah it’s likely they won’t work.

I have a set of BBS CH003 alloys, they looked great on my 3.0si which I sold my earlier this year, with the original MV2 alloys. They'll need rear tyres and one has a fair bit of curb rash, so will need a refurb. I'm not that far from you as I'm near Lichfield. Anyway, drop me a pm if you're interested.
