New Z4MC owner - looking to get in touch with a previous owner on this forum

Hi all,

I’ve just recently bought a Z4MC and since buying it and going through old paperwork I’ve realised that it was once owned by a member of this forum who’s username is bradz.

I can see he hasn’t been online since last year but I’d love to get in touch with him to find out more about the history of the car.

I don’t suppose anyone is still in contact with him or could point me in the direction of someone who might be?

You could try sending a direct message, as he may have alerts turned on via email, etc.
Or @bradz may work.

You haven't got enough posts yet - there's a post count limit to avoid spammers sending PMs to everyone

Ah okay makes sense thanks - the thing is that it won't even find his account to even try to send the PM to (I think the blocker you're talking about just prevents you from actually sending the message):

I noticed that when I looked up 'bradz', it didn't show up on the drop-down menu for some reason.
If you click/hovver on @bradz here, it will bring him up and you can send a PM from there.

His user name is "Bradz", but he hasn't been on here since last October. FWIW you need to have made 5 posts before you can send a PM.
 
I met him at Ace Cafe years ago (can’t remember his name but it wasn’t Brad!) Is the car stock now?

I bet it’s a great example. He was handy with the ol’ spanners and rebuilt a lot of it to do track days.

His name is Adam! Adam sold the car in stock form but funnily enough the next owner bought back the brakes and wheels that Adam had sold and fitted them to the car.

It’s had another owner since then but hasn’t done a huge amount of mileage since Adam did all the rebuild work. It’s also had rod bearings done and VANOS rebuild with Beisan parts.

List of mods as it stands:
  • 135i BMW Performance front calipers
  • Porsche 986 rear calipers
  • Bilstein B12 coilovers
  • CSL reps with Michelin PS2’s
  • Super Pro subframe bushes
  • Powerflex diff bushes
  • Solid subframe mounts
  • M-Track mode enabled
  • DBC coded out
  • Clutch delay valve delete
I’ll have to get a build thread started at some point!

Very nice motor Simon, I love the CSL wheels with the bmw performance calipers behind them.
I remember seeing this on AT. Enjoy.
