Hello. My build is in process and I have a couple questions.

Does the 2026 z4 come with a wind deflector?

What are thoughts on an extended warranty from BMW offered during the purchase? I’ve always gotten a new car every 5 years and only ever had the wheel and tire warranty since I’m in PA with a lot of pot holes. Since I plan to have the z4 more than 5 years, and with all the tech, is it time to consider an extended warranty?

In the US the wind deflector has always been standard fitment.

Do you not get a comprehensive warranty with your purchase ? In the UK you do, but I'm not sure how it works in the US. Opinions on extended warranties vary,. My car is now 6 years old and I've kept a comprehensive BMW warranty on it, and I will continue to do so until it's no longer available at 10 years old.

In the US the standard warranty is four years or 50,000 miles, whichever is first.

Considering the price of wheels and tires, I still think I’ll go with the tire warranty.

A comprehensive warranty is for everything that is non-consumable or not classed as trim, so engine, drive train, electronics etc. Tyres are consumables so not covered. You can buy this warranty once the new car warranty has expired.
