What is the mean average age of Z4 Drivers?

Thanks for the most excellent tip, I'm really surprised by the ages of some, for instance, I would have bet that the ages of Pondrew and B21 were the other way around :ROFLMAO:
I think I’m 21 going on 25 …then I look in the mirror…😢😢😢😢😢

Just can’t understand it..I feel like a teenager…🧐😳

Well until I start heavy jobs then I have to stop and have a cappuccino / beer / gin n tonic / glass of wine /whisky …🙈

As an aside on the FB E89 group of those who confessed to their age the average was late sixties FWIW ..with a lot way over 70..based on a 50+ sample..and that’s not the Dickensian world of the Z4 Forum🤔

55 next month and had my 35Is for 4 years. Only do 3-4 k miles a year in it now I'm retired as it shares time with my MR2 Turbo and 10 bikes. My brain still thinks I am 20 but the body not so much.

😀À 60 ans j' avais ma E85 3i que j' ai adoré conduire pendant 5 années et depuis 1 an j' ai la E89 Drive 35i et maintenant à 66 j' ai toujours la même passion avec la Z😀

Coming from someone who has been semi-retired for some time that’s a bit cheeky.😜😜😜
Yeah but a semi-retired drug dealer is still a drug dealer (according to the police).

Come on Andy. Nobody takes much notice of that organisation in this day and age. It seems to have very little credibility in the eyes of the public..😉😉😉

I'm sparring in TKD and Muay Thai with people in their 20s a few times a week thinking -- I'm one of them... until I hit the showers and mirrors... and ibuprofen. Passing 50 doesn't feel like it until you look in the mirror!

Enjoy being 50+ while you can - it doesn't get any better IME!
I don't understand why people have 'parties' for significant birthdays as they get older.
The last party I had was for my 30th. It was great.....we were all young enough to get pissed and still go to work the next day.
I am fast approaching 60 and 'celebrating' that is the furthest thing from my mind.

BTW my birthday is on Wednesday (this week) so I expect presents. Cash will do! :)

I don't either, bigger numbers are best forgotten!

Anyway Happy Birthday for Wednesday because being somewhat older than you I'll have forgotten by tomorrow! What's cash?

🍰🧁🍕🥪🎂Have a nice birthday on Wednesday. I’ll do it now, I’ll forget by Wednesday

The worst thing for me is seeing 'classic' cars (and bikes) for sale which I had brand new!
I was very lucky in that I had brand new company cars from the age of 18. When I see 1986 Sierras (or the like), looking very old and knackered, for sale it makes me feel very very old, as I had those new.

Join the club!

In 1984 I bought a 1982 Capri 2.8i for £5K, but now they are 40+ years old people seem to want twice as much for them.

I sold a MK2 Escort RS2000 for less than £2,500 to buy it too!

I owned a Mk3 RS Turbo Escort (the white ones), which was in pristine condition and low miles in 1998.
Even the reg (issued by the DVLA) was worth money.....C88 MEG.
I wish I had kept that puppy.
