An older car that can only be repaired economically using S/H parts by a backstreet workshop or even the buyer. It’s simply. Car the owners has decided to sell as it is for whatever reason, many for sale on EBay and other sites
I don't know. It has never officially been a 'write off' as only insurance can do this.if it's an 'unrecorded' write off, how come there's a record of it??
My God! That's dodgy! You sure it wasn't just quietly got rid of with a known issue through WBAC?I found out a little more today.
The car in question had an accident and was sold for salvage without an insurance claim. Apparently this was most likely because the car was either third party insured or not insured at all.
The car was bought from the salvage auction and repaired, then everything carries on as usual. It was recorded by the salvage auction but not by insurance, hence there is a record but the record is unrecorded. Mental.
HPi checks DO NOT pick this up, so beware people.
How very dare you!My God! That's dodgy! You sure it wasn't just quietly got rid of with a known issue through WBAC?
Beware people!!How very dare you!

I did the right thing and told the nice man at WBAC about the coolant leak and he found the salvage issue himself.Beware people!!![]()
For that money couldn't you convert it into another Fauxrrai or maybe a LameborghiniSo the car is going to be sold for about a fiver and only I have caught a cold with it. Happy?
That makes more sense now. Maybe WBAC have access to data from people like Copart?I found out a little more today.
