Hi
Can someone kindly tell me where this is actually fitted or located please…
Has anyone any pictures they have taken?
Finally has anyone had SOS light coming on and sorted the issue?
Appreciate any great feed back on this please…

Inside the rear boot bulkhead to the left hand side as you look at it from the rear …simple

Circled is a Combox (Telemetrics unit), but the position can be used for the MULF or TCU, both of which are also used for the SOS system. I belive that the SOS system is no longer in use, due to BMW no longer supporting 3G, so this may have something to do with it. It can be coded out.

That can be checked by just pressing the SOS button next to the mirror. Short explanation of this car test situation will be accepted, if somebody takes up the call.

This year it still was in operation in Germany, dunno how long it will be kept alive..

All 3G services in UK have been switched off apart from O2..there’s will be switch off before the end of 2025..so 3G devices are as much use as a chocolate teapot in the UK…
