If you're running more boost than stock yes..beware of copious fakes

Yup ran 21 PSI no worries on my 20i E89!

An uprated DV ensures more accurate boost control..less flutter at the limits and generally smoother ..at the limit the stock dv looses the ability to hold the required boost ..it’s not going to change the world but removes a potential weakness on the charge side..
