What is the mean average age of Z4 Drivers?

I note from a recent thread placed within this E89 Z4 Discussion that a gentleman member of the Forum has sold his Z4 and acquired a BMW 7 Series. This has caused other members of the Forum to create responding posts. For myself, it has focused my mind on what difference ones chronology makes to owning and/or driving a Z4.

Hmmm, age of mind and body in the same person can be very different numbers! I got my Z4 because I've never had a soft top and a car i can work on myself for over 20 years. I guess if you are from an age of tiktok and ubereats thought processes may be different. I'm from an age where I remember the adverts for the ultimate driving machine. A fantasy at the time, but now can be a reality for so many. But to consider your original question and probably cause a storm....over 45 on the record, but we are all 18 really!

Lot of the e85 crowd in my area seems like they're in there 20s-40s except for the MC and MR. E89 and g29 drivers are definitely quite a bit older, at least over here.

80 and still love my Z. Although I fit with Rsipaid’s assessment, the E89 is my choice now. It is a bit more cosseting. I have had convertibles since I learned to drive in the 1960s. I started with a 1951 MG TD when I was a student. Even when I married and started a family I ran MGBs, even towing a caravan with them.😀

Age is but a number.

I drive it like I stole it and overtake everything ALL the time. It is lowered, a noisy airbox and exhaust AND I wear a bucket hat!

I just found this thread that I used to have bookmarked before the forum got a facelift.

Maybe it would be useful for the OP if people updated it?

Old enough for my son in law to ask when I’m going to get an “age appropriate” car.
I’ve been counting backwards a long time but 18yr wouldn’t be fair knowing what I know now.
