What's this wire for people?

Does anyone know what this wire does?
Found it disconnected after opening the console up.
Reconnected it and didn't see any extra lights or anything noticeable.
Thanks!

Oooh comfort access… no idea off hand about the connector..I should know having taken the console completely out..šŸ™ˆ

It's for the locking mechanism for the armrest lid.
And I'd guess it's disconnected for one of two reasons, 1, because it's been forgot to be reinstalled previously, 2, because the lock is broken and stopped the previous owner from getting in the armrest! Either way I'd be cautious about plugging it back in.

No, the comfort access wires go to antennas under the radio and behind the console behind the seats..

Thanks. That makes sense… I was hoping it was going to the ā€œremote onā€ wire for the amp in the boot… oh well. I can still open the console… had no idea the console locked. The glove boxes don’t seem to…

The "remote on" is fed from the diversity antenna in the boot, left side below the rear light cluster, pin 1 of the 3 pin connector.
