And I'd guess it's disconnected for one of two reasons, 1, because it's been forgot to be reinstalled previously, 2, because the lock is broken and stopped the previous owner from getting in the armrest! Either way I'd be cautious about plugging it back in.

The "remote on" is fed from the diversity antenna in the boot, left side below the rear light cluster, pin 1 of the 3 pin connector.Thanks.
