Old Threads

There are an awful lot of old threads being revived at the moment. Is it to do with the new forum format or are we running out of ideas and things to say? The 'Trending Content' in the margin might be to blame for some.

Not sure if we can delete threads which we no longer contribute to from our own account if that makes sense

It could be to do with the 'similar threads' thing at the bottom of the page, John, which have no date relevance so easy to just click on and presume they are recent?
