Jobs done by my local garage mechanic not by me I'm no good at all that. New steering arms, drop links, track rod ends and braided brake lines sorted.
And now I have a boot full of Front and Rear shock absorbers with top mounts, springs to do next. Jobs that could have waited but It will all be in fine order now and handle great.

Today was simple: wiper blades, air filter and new struts for the trunk lid.
Tomorrow, more extensive work: oil change, brake flush, coolant flush. I'm too old to crawl under the car
so she's going to the dealership for this.

USA made. This company has been making these for years (many sold). Very reasonable price ($70) for top quality machined parts. The installation was really easy, only a few basic hand tools required. Very thorough instructions as well. My DISA was actually functioning well (car only has 20K miles). I installed this as preventative maintenance, as well as for the quality of the upgraded components.
BMW's design of this valve was not great, with the potential of destroying your engine. German Auto Solutions very successfully improved on the design.
I also bought their lower pressure coolant cap.

Gave the new (to me) Z4 it's first date wash to get to know her.......
then promptly did a roof clean using Fabric Guard products - checked all the drains are draining - roof may benefit from Renovo so ordered some.
Did engine detail - will need to treat some superficial rusty bits
did steering wheel leather restoration - was cracking and had worn patches - used furniture clinic stuff rather than Geist as their dye has sealant built in - came out pretty good - will post pics soon. Will need to remove MFSW plastic parts as rubberised layer is failing - rubbing alcohol ordered to complete job.

My coupe headliner decided it was time to fall down on the passenger side and then the drivers side!

I see Suede Fabric Charcoal Foam Backed Replace Material For BMW 3 5 series on eBay.
Not sure if this is a suitable replacement or not or how much material is required. Sounds like Alcantara would be better or whatever the stock material is.
Its a liquid called Solution Finish . You only need too apply a very small amount so even though the bottle is small it lasts quite a while .

I think we need to make it a rule in this thread that if you refurbish something (like those awesome seats above!) you have to mention what product you used

Will do
- Dodo Juice Supernatural Leather cleaner and a long horse hair bristle brush (YeewayVeh - amazon)
- Sand rough areas using 320 grit small sponge pad until smooth - do not sand the stitching
- Light sand to all the leather surfaces to provide key for dye
- Use degreaser for light wipe to all of the leather - I used Gtechniq panel wipe
- Filler - Furniture Clinic heavy filler - black - use a spatula to apply - like the ones you get with hair removal cream - 5mins between coats - use heat gun or hairdryer between coats - no filler over the stitches or joins - you are trying to construct a false surface - light sand at end
- Degreaser wipe to remove dust
- Dye - Furniture Clinic Leather Repair Paint Dye - self sealing - Black - 5 coats to damaged area, 2 coats to rest of seats - this ensures paint match - I had a 50ml bottle and did a steering wheel restoration and these 2 seats and still have some left - leave 24 hours to fully cure
Took 4 hours total but most of that was getting seats in/out and cleaning the carpets, etc

Ordered some of the Solution Finish Trim Restorer @1536Z4 mentioned a few posts ago and restored my wing mirror trims as well. Made a much bigger difference than I expected, and even being told it didn't need much solution - it really doesn't take much liquid at all! Might have a go at the windscreen scuttle at some point as well.
