Post issues with the new forum here

On the right of the screen (in DM's) there is a list of names with a green tick next to those who have seen the message. Bookmarks do seem to have gone though, will need to re-bookmark.
 
Searches don't appear to be working correctly - they're not returning correct results...

I've suspected it for a few days but managed to confirm it by searching for an old post with a very rare word i.e. 'Smokie'

'Smokie' or 'smokie' returns no results, 'Smokie*' or '*Smokie*' returns two (but not the ones I was after)

A search for 'smokie' Should have returned this post

Thanks for the report. I have looked into this and it's a bug in the latest release of the software. Hopefully they will get it patched soon
 
I dont seem to be receiving notifications when posts I am watching/post-in receive new responses despite it being set up to do that.
 
Since the forum has been updated i no longer recieve any notifications. I have all email settings ticked but nothing.

Can you check the watched threads link (forum menu... watched).

You will see a list of watched threads. If you see my example below you will see it says "email" next to the check box. Does yours have that?

Thanks mate, have checked the boxes hopefully will sort it. By the way, the new format looks as good as the zed does.

Having said that ive just gone back and after selecting all and enable email replies the boxes are empty again and if i click "go" it does the same 🤔

Was he word email there next to the box? If not then you need to select all the boxes and if you scroll down to the botttom there is a dropdown, and an option in there is "enable email notification". Then when you go back to the page you should see email next to all the check boxes.
 
I'm also having this problem with missing notifications. In my preferences there are all boxes ticked (alarm and push).
Even more interesting is that every now and then I do receive a notification.
Today I opened a new thread, there were some answers to it, but I haven't received a single notification about it.

The notifications I'm talking about are the little red numbers at the bell icon. I'm not interested in email notifications.

Edit: I just ticked the boxes under the Content section in preferences. Automaticly watch the content things. If this is it, I'd expect it to be turned on by default 🤔

Well some positive feedback here. I still get the red number next to the bell icon.

And there is now an option to add photos to PMs which I never managed to do on the old format!
 
On mobile, it does not go to the new post but always post 1 of a thread. Not sure if someone else said anything about that one.

Also, you can't see who made a new post on a thread, it only shows the author of the original post.
 
Well now i'm back and catching up on stuff I so have one question:
How do all the 'Legends' feel about their demotion to 'Lifer'. :poke:

I only feel "offended" during the day on my PC, as on my mobile it doesn't show and also, I don't use the mobile anymore as it doesn't work very well to get to the last post of a new thread.

Just click the post time (sometimes says x minutes ago or moments ago) and that should take you to the last post. Or am I missing something?
