At £2k couldn't you have replaced the entire thing? Did they build your DCT on a Friday?

If you think you can change the DCT box for £2k I’m afraid you’re in for a big big shock…

The fundamental issue was there was a leak from the pressure filter which made it appear that the leak was coming from the sump..2 Indy’s and I misdiagnosed it..there were 7 events involving 3 fresh sumps and 28 litres of oil before the real issue was discovered

I was thinking more a low mileage second-hand replacement . Is it all resolved now, or are you still in the midst of it?

Decent DCT box is £3k-£4K…plus fitting ..

All sorted when I eventually discovered where the real leak was from 18 months later and 7 oil changes
