Looks awesome, what did you use?
Did a standard wash at the petrol station wash bay (since I live in an apartment and don’t have a driveway to do it properly).
Used Meguires Alloy Wheel cleaner on the wheels. Dried them then sprayed them down with Meguires Hybrid Ceramic spray (no rinse, just wipe off - gives a more robust coating than rinsing off). Dressed the tyres with Meguires Tyre Gel.
Did a 2nd “wash” back home with CarPro MultiX APC and microfibre cloths before the clay bar. I use Bilt Hamber medium clay and water for lubrication. I finish with Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax.
Finally I sealed all the glass with RainX.
I expect to be contributing to this thread a lot. I just got my 2016 Z4 this past weekend.
At the start of the week, I ordered an F13 (650i 2012-2018) mirror and stole the Homelink 4 module out of it. It took a full day of trying to program my garage door, video after video of steps that DID NOT WORK. I finally stumbled onto the idea that I would need the Homelink Bridge and almost ordered it. This wasn't good enough though as it's a lower security system than my garage door. Another couple of hours and I found some content (probably here at this site, I dunno, it's all a blur now). It seems that all E-chassis BMWs have older Homelink technology, regardless of manufacture year.
I found it weird that a 2016 BMW has 2009 Homelink technology. I had to step up to the F-chassis mirror to get the proper module to work with Security + 2.0 while still being compatible with my mirror's logic board.
I actually preferred the smaller clown nose of the new mirror and tried to use it, but the donor car must have not had Comfort Start as I had trouble using push-to-start and had to go back to my original mirror. I then went down the path of swapping out the clown nose. The struggle to get my old clown nose out without taking apart the whole mirror became futile. There are things on the circuit board blocking the tabs and I couldn't squeeze them. I'd have to remove the stalk, and compass board from my mirror in order to remove the globe. I was hesitant to do this as the stalk's ball & socket tension is perfect as it is. Quite stiff and stays in place. I was afraid that I may not get the tension right on reassembly and it would either be too stiff, or too loose and floppy. In addition, the LED design is way different between the two mirrors. Mine sticks out much further and I couldn't be sure it would fit. I abandonned the idea of a slimmer clown nose.
I didn't even think to document any of the procedure, but here's a pic of the Homelink 4 module. If I were to do it all over again, I would have ensured that the donor mirror had comfort start, so that I could have just used it instead (not sure how to really research this, maybe make sure it has a compass at least?). I'd have my slimmer clown nose, and all would be right.
My Z4 now operates the garage door.

Unusual for the LPFP to be an isssue..how many miles?Had a new fuel pump fitted today as the original one had a highly irritating whine off it when filled above a ¼ tank. Full tank and silence now

I was provided some lights to evaluate... So this week I installed them. Really good lighting for polishing.

My beloved 437Ms are not as bullet proof as I expected from a M2/M4 forged wheel..
Had a slight ‘patter’,at around 120 mph (private test track of course)….tyres half way through their lives (SC7s)…so thought I’d get them rebalanced ..
Minor 10-15 gram on 3 of them but needed 50 gram on one rear ..
Both rears have slight inward bend at one point..
Tyre msn reckons pretty minor by his standards and wheels balanced perfectly…
Off to see my wheel doctor then at the end of the year ..two straightened and one kerbed…
Trouble if you use your car in anger ..

Bought them recently from a forum member. They're actually hydro-dipped.
