3x Signal lane change?

Post by veryhuman » Thu Apr 03, 2008 3:38 pm

What I'm referring to is, when pressure is applied to the turn indicator knob behind the steering wheel (without clicking into position), the turn light indicators automatically flashes 3 times, instead of the default 1 time.

I know this option exists and have to be coded, but does it exist for Z4s that are pre '06?

Dealers are clueless over the phone, and I'd rather not waste time and money for them to try and figure it out, only to find out, it can not be done.

Thanks!

Not an option on a UK 2003 model, but of course it would be standard across most of central EU

I suspect this is a very market specific option.
Jaguar F-Type 3.0 Supercharged V6 S, Stratus Grey, LSD, Active Exhaust, CF wheels, Performance brakes, Sports seats and mods ongoing
Gone but not forgotten Z4 3.0i SE Roadster ///M front, Red ///M leather seats, Aero sills

My dealer said this could be enabled on my 2005 (US model). But, they wanted $60 / program to do it, and I'm looking to have 3 different programmings done. I am going to look for an independent shop to code this into my car.

From what I've seen, they aren't even available on Mercedes-Benzs.

True, us Benz owners are far too full of self-importance to signal our intentions to others
