I find that I shouldn't spend anymore money into the car except to maintain because it's just too old, and not worth it.

I have a 2003 Z4, manufacture date of 11/02. I am trying to figure out if it will work.....

It will, but there's a but of wiring harness you'll need to power it; runs to the headlight controls, iirc.

Does that mean I need to run another set of wires from the steering wheel to inside the dash?

I believe so, yes. I think it's just a couple of wires, power and ground, no big deal. Heck, you might even already have the harness. The earliest cars appear to have been wired for everything, whether it was installed or not, so retrofits are easier.

I just took my Airbag off, and this is what I found.



With the connector removed:



Now my next question, will his steering wheel work on my Zed?????

from what I was told....not without a lot of wiring work

only cars from 09/03(which mine is ) have the stuff built in.
