Hello,
I am looking to track my 2004 Z4.
I was wondering what I should do to prep my car for the track?
Additionally, I am looking to replace my brakes and do my brake fluid. What brake & brake fluid should I purchase?
Thanks!

Track Day Prep & Brake Rec
Is this your first track day?

Second of all, you need to consider if you are going to be just using the car on track or is it still a road car? This will dictate which way you go with certain pad compounds.
As a minimum, I'd do braided lines, with ATE Type 200 brake fluid. This is more than enough for most applications. You could spend nearly double and get RBF660, but I doubt you'd see much benefit from my experience.
Pads wise, if you want a good road/track pad, consider EBC Bluestuff as they aren't noisy and work from cold. Fit them front and rear then send it. If you want something more track-focused consider PBS Pro Track/Race or if you want the best bang for your buck, then get some EBC RP-X, although these are not suitable for road use as they are so so noisy!
Past that will depend on how quick you are and how you use your brakes. You might want to upgrade to a larger 3.0si setup or even a brembo front caliper or 335i setup.
Outside of that, change your oil, make sure your coolant is topped up, wheel bolts are torqued and setup your cameras. Have fun and enjoy the day, oh and defo defo defo book tuition. Tuition will make you quicker than upgraded parts ever will
