I gave up on the site and pretty much everything else I used to do to sort the house out after we flooded in Christmas 2020 - I did last about six months until the summer of 2021 then the pace of repair work overtook me and I stopped posting. By the time I was ready for a comeback I couldn't get past the 'prove you're not a bot' and username and password not matching and I didn't have the mental slack - or any pressing car breakdown to have to deal with it so put it to one side again.
Finished the house repairs and have built most of the flood defenses now so had another go at the forum again today and found a different way round the site and to reset my password - this time I was driven on by a clearer head and a roof issue to sort; but more on that later! Have I missed anything?
