CSL Wheel Purchase

Post by Gwest44 » Fri Mar 21, 2025 8:53 pm

Looking at potentially buying a genuine set of CSL's but scared to death they might be copies.

What's the best way to confirm they are genuine?

Is this photo a genuine CSL?

Cheers.

The print should state BMW I think, and if there are photos of the rear, there should be BBS stamps.

Excuse my rusty bolts!

You should also know by the price, real CSLs demand big bucks Reps however are easily less than a grand

It's the BMW lettering that Reps don't seem to have. The Reps on my car didn't have that but they were exactly the same sizes and offsets.

If you are shelling out for genuine ones make sure they really are CSLs. CS wheels look the same but the fronts are only 8J not 8.5J. Rears are the same for both.

Or you could save a few thousand and buy Reps given how often you change your Zs.
